Bakasana

This week we have been playing with Bakasana, Crow Pose 😊 which, as usual, does not mean anyone has to do it or even try it if they don't want to. However, the preparation for this pose, which we go through during the practice, is brilliant to strengthen the shoulders and hands, as well as the core. The best two tips I've ever been given for this pose are: look past your hands and push the floor actively away with your hands. So I try to pass these on, as well as, hopefully, convincing students that this is just a bit of playful fun 😉

Quote of the week: What lies behind you and what lies ahead of you are nothing compared to what lies within you. 💜
